An educator of long experience and distinguished record, Herbert Warren Lull is, since September 1, 1931, superintendent emeritus of schools of Newport, Rhode Island. He was born at Boston, Massachusetts, on November 26, 1852, a son of Lewis M. and Jeanette Andrews (Tewksbury) Lull. His father was a railroad official and both parents were members of old American families.
